ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT, TEXAS PLANS TO EXECUTE:

KEITH STEVEN THURMOND. The former master mechanic was convicted of shooting and killing his estranged wife and her boyfriend in Magnolia in 2001. He lost his federal appeal when he attorney missed a deadline, essentially waiving the last constitutionally required review before his death sentence could be carried out.
