When the other shoe drops
It's a photo in need of a story.
The other morning I was walking along Congress Avenue alongside the civil courthouse. And there it was. Just sitting there on the sidewalk. One right shoe.
No sign of its partner.
When did it arrive? Who left it? When? More importantly, why?
Somewhere someone was wandering around with but one shoe. Did the person even know the shoe was missing? Or, more precisely, that they were missing the shoe?
