Not sure where you get your information, but to my knowledge and resources, Judge Jackson has not resigned. It may be wise to get the facts with confirmation before spreading defaming blotter about an elected official. It is obvious you wanted to be the one to 'break the news' as if you are some sort of an insider, but instead, you 'broke' the law!

I don't know where YOU got your information, but nothing said here was defamatory. But even if it was, the law provides almost no protection against defamation for elected public officials. It's a little thing called the First Amendment.
Thus, your conclusion that Mr. Kennedy "broke the law" is way off base. If anything, he made the same mistake you did: speaking from his own misunderstanding.
We also heard the same thing and then heard there was a cover up for what happened or did not happen.BE WARY OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS

Kim L I couldn't agree with you more. I was 18 when judge Mantooth had just come to court 180 back in 1993. It was my first offense. Never been in trouble before. I was charged with Agg robbery. They had no evidence beside a written statement from my twin sister which I'm sure she was forced to do without the opportunity to have an attorney present. I was convicted on a written statement with no evidence. In which judge Mantooth gave me a choice. Either take a 30 year sentence or a plea bargain for 12 agg. Or take my chances in trail and get hung by a jury. In which she made it crystal clear that I wouldn't win. Being a young African American woman I was railroaded. She stated that she was going to make an example of me and that she did. I felt alone and that no one cared or would listen to me. I fought my case for 2 years. And hired and attorney. But it did no good she had something to prove and she didn't care that I would spemd 12 years of my life in jail. I'm not surprised to see that she's known for over exercising her authority.
