Presumption of innocence? What presumption of innocence?

So much for that whole inconvenient presumption of innocence thing down in Jackson County. This is a display that adorns the grounds of the Jackson County Courthouse in Edna, Texas.

No word on how many of those cases were dismissed or resulted in acquittals, nor on how many of those cases are still pending.

Wow. An inexperienced dwi lawyer who seemingly blogs for business taking on Jackson County?

The real question is, how many of those cases resulted in victims that will be affected the rest of their lives?

Hey, Anonymous #2, at least I put my name behind my comments and observations.

It's easy to take potshots at people hiding behind the skirt of anonymity.

I don't have a problem with an awareness project - after all who is FOR domestic/sexual violence?

My issue with this one is that it isn't informative. What does the number 97 represent? 97 convictions? 97 charges? It isn't clear.

I think they could have done better.
